I have the very ferny one. It spreads enough that I've been able to try it in several different spots, but I've never seen it flower anywhere. I keep it just for the foliage though - a nice ferny look where ferns won't grow.

Have a great time in Norway!Entangledhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07261805004615133289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2975676572078060876.post-10469829492833287322008-08-17T08:46:00.000-04:002008-08-17T08:46:00.000-04:00Thanks for joining in for bloom day. That was nearly 10 years ago, and I still find the occasionally seedling of it. Do you have that problem with it?

Carol, May Dreams GardensCarol Michelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07796344366326535406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2975676572078060876.post-3262272417325795572008-08-17T06:41:00.000-04:002008-08-17T06:41:00.000-04:00I love my new camera, Rose, but I'm taking Salix's...I love my new camera, Rose, but I'm taking Salix's little one to Norway--just trying to keep things light. I love the glorybower--the scent is really lovely.

And yes, Les, I'd forgotten that the leaves smell like peanut butter--they're such a fall thing, I've been waiting for them all year. And I like the smell of the salvias, too--Lespedeza apologized for giving me a stinky plant, but I actually think they smell good. Maybe too much time around Ranunculus?Cosmohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14260783700118031314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2975676572078060876.post-46728387550627320502008-08-16T20:34:00.000-04:002008-08-16T20:34:00.000-04:00Black and Blue is one of my favs also, and the hon...Black and Blue is one of my favs also, and the honeybees do love it too. I like the fact that it blooms so long, and I even like its pungent smell. I gave my Mom the Clerodendron for her b-day last month, she has room for, I do not. I would not call it a thug, but I would not put it in a small garden either. Have you noticed how the crushed foliage smells of peanut butter. I think I like the seeds as much as the flowers. Have a great time on your trip and try some unfamiliar fish dishes.Leshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18281256160705697856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2975676572078060876.post-86283275646521141112008-08-16T18:50:00.000-04:002008-08-16T18:50:00.000-04:00I've read about glorybowers but have never actuall...I've read about glorybowers but have never actually met one.
